I am a full-time music producer, recording engineer, and mixing engineer. I started producing, recording, and mixing music a little over 10 years ago.

Since then I have been lucky enough to gain hundreds of my own satisfied clients, work with some A-list producers and songwriters in the Jewish music space, and have a hand in some very well-known productions and songs.

But it wasn’t always smooth sailing, especially when I was starting out. It took me so long to get comfortable with everything. Until then I was getting mixed messages and misinformed by the internet. Some were saying ‘you need more third party plugins’ others were saying something like ‘this specific piece of gear will make all the difference’. It took me a while to realize that this was simply untrue and the secret to great sounding recordings and mixes is the knowledge, skill, and workflow. I slowly started to see that with these three things you can accomplish awesome sounding music with the gear you already have. 

The problem was that it took me way too long to figure this out and I felt like I wasted so much precious learning time going in circles. This is why I started the YNI Recording Academy because just like you I am a home studio owner and I’m here to guide you to making amazing sounding music that is ready to be heard by the world all from your home studio.
